Uganda’s football league second tier, the FUFA Big league will climax today with nine games on the trot.

Elgon group Champions Wakiso Giants will be targeting to end on a high when they face Dove All Stars on the road.

However, the hosts still have much to play for – a play off spot is still in their reach.

Dove All Stars, fourth with 31 points, can finish third (a playoffs spot) with a big win (say 4-0) if UPDF (in third) lose away to Nebbi Central.

“We go into every game with one target, to win and it won’t be any different tomorrow,” said Wakiso Coach Ibrahim Kirya. “Their targets don’t concern us and they shouldn’t expect any favours from us.”

Also, Wakiso have lost just one game this season, against Kyetume FC, and will hence target to finish with a record highest point tally in the Big League.

The purple Sharks will miss the services of Yasin Mugume, Yasin Mugabi (injured). Norman Ojik is doubtful while Hassan Wasswa Dazo, Hakim Ssenkumba, Muwadda Kateregga and Richard Kigozi Gazza did not make the trip, the club confirmed via their official website.

Karim Ndugwa returns from suspension while Augustine Walusimbi, Ainemani Junior and Sulaiman Jjingo are all part of the team.
