Sunday, June 16
KCCA SA 3-2 Vipers SC JT

KCCA SA beat Vipers JT 3-2 in an end to end encounter played on Sunday at the Startimes stadium, Lugogo.

The hosts took an early lead through midfielder Joseph Kafumbe who bundled in a beautiful freekick in the 12th minute.

The lead did not last for long as the young venoms responded via Iga Najib who converted from the spot before the half hour mark.

In the second stanza, Joseph kafumbe bagged his brace with a cracker as KCCA regained their lead before Sadat Anaku scored a beauty to double the advantage, his 31st goal of the ongoing campaign.

The Visitors pulled one back just a minute to the death thanks to Andrew Kawooya’s freekick but it proved too late for Vipers to at least walk away with a point.

The victory sees KCCA comfortably lead the Treble group on 60 points from 18 games, nine above Vipers who still has a game in hand.
