Social media erupted since Wednesday following goalkeeper and Uganda Cranes captain Denis Onyango heroic performance in a one all draw with Zimbabwe.

Onyango was outstanding as Uganda edged closer to reach the round of 16 with a vital point.

Africa’s best goalkeeper made a reflex to sweep away Ovidy Karuru’s spinning ball in the goal mouth to let Uganda run away with a hard fought point.

One of the Twitter users, went to his account and claimed that Onyango can even save Bank of Uganda. It should be noted that bank’s officials have been in trouble since the recent suspected currency scam.
