*Bandari (Kenya) 1-1 KCCA FC (Uganda)

KCCA FC came from down to rescue a point off Bandari FC at Huye Stadium in Rwanda at this year’s CECAFA Kagame Cup.

Trailing by a goal, Saddam Juma who came off the bench to replace Gift Ali at restart, slotted home at the half hour mark as KCCA shared spoils with the Kenyan side.

Abdallah Hassan had put Bandari in an early lead in the third minute but the Kenyan side failed to hold on for a win.

Allan Okello had his goal in the 26th minute ruled out – He was deemed offside after he tapped in from Mustafa Kizza’s cross in the 26th minute.

Muzamir Mutyaba shot over the bar while Mike Mutyaba also had his shot kept out by Bandari keeper Shikhalo.

KCCA will return in action on Tuesday at Huye Stadium against Tanzania’s Azam FC who are the defending champions.
