CECAFA: Proline FC Confident Ahead Of Group Decider

*APR FC Vs Heegan FC – 3:30PM

Proline FC will go head to head with Green Eagles in a win or go home encounter at the Kigali Stadium in the 2019 CECAFA Kagame Cup.

This, is the last group C encounter. Rwanda’s APR who are already through with six points, will play Heegan in their group game. The Somali side has lost their two games and already out.

Proline FC and Green Eagles are both on joint second with three points, scored and conceded the same number of goals.

“We are ready and extra motivated to win tomorrow’s game. We are not looking into those calculations, we just want to beat them,” noted Proline FC defender Mustafa Mujuzi.

On the opening day, Proline lost to APR 1-0 courtesy of Manzi Thierry’s late strike before the side beat Heegan 2-0. Green Eagles beat Heegan 2-0 but also lost 1-0 to APR.

“We had a good training session,” said Shafic Bisaso on Wednesday. “Its a big game for the boys, they know what they are supposed to do. We have no pressure, we want to play what we know best.”

Kintu Sam and Ajuna Richard are some of the Proline FC players that are sidelined but Bisaso believes that he has enough in the tank to go an extra mile.

It is however not yet known what will be the criteria used, when Proline and Green Eagles share spoils.
