Uganda Cranes coach Abdallah Mubiru is expected to name a his final squad ahead of the CHAN qualification double header against Somalia.
With the squad set to be officially named later on Wednesday, The-SportsNation.com sources has learnt that seven players have already been dropped.
KCCA FC duo Nicholas Kasozi and Filbert Obenchan headlines the dropped list. Goalkeepers Keni Saidi and Joel Mutakubya Joel have also been offloaded.
As expected, Kigozi Samson Andrew (Kakiri Town Council FC), and Odong Johnson (Police FC), Owor David (SC Villa) have failed to make the cut.
Uganda will visit Somalia in the first leg to be played on July 27 before hosting on August 3rd in Kampala.
There are 23 players already in camp, but sources have it that only 18 will be going to Djibouti to face Somalia.
