Sharing Youth coach Raymond Muhumuza is optimistic as his side prepare to take on giants Warriors in the National Basketball League at Lugogo Indoor, Kampala.

Sharing Youth have won three of the four second round games, the same number of wins they managed from 11 first round games.

“Its an important game, the streak gives us very good confidence and we have planned well for it,” coach Muhumuza told the-SportsNation.com ahead of the duel.

Warriors have been unstoppable as well on the other hand, winning all their three second round games – beating Ndejje, Our Saviour and Kampala – beating the latter 101-39.

Warriors have enough armoury especially in the front court that has Amisi ‘Carmelo’ Saidi, Samad Imran, Stanley Mugerwa, Michael Buzangu, Jonathan Kambala among others.

“Its important to stop their inside presence, because they have a good front court their back court is equally strong but last time we tried to contain it,” added coach Muhumuza.

“This time we need to do a much better job of containing their inside presence and we can build on that to make sure that we shut them down one position at a time.

“We have to matchup with them from the offensive side.”

Warriors won the reverse fixture 74-42 on May 29 but coach Muhumuza said that his side has managed to improve since then, given the fact that their best player in Stephen Otoa has been out due to a spinal surgery.

Sharing Youth, will front Caesar Kizito to hurt his former pay masters but other stars like Emmanuel Okumu will be needed to step up to the occasion if the Nsambya based side can mount a real challenge.
