*Uganda Vs Zimbabwe
All roads lead to Legends ground as Uganda’s senior Rugby 15s team, the Rugby Cranes, will go all out to pummel Zimbabwe’s Sables in a 2019 Victoria cup encounter.
This is the second game for the Nile Special sponsored Rugby Cranes in this year’s Victoria Cup as the side lost 5-16 to Kenya Simbas in the Elgon Cup. Zimbabwe on the other hand, beat Zambia at their own backyard in Lusaka, 39-10.
“We will try to throw away the bad memories that happened against Kenya,” noted Rugby Cranes coach Robert Seguya.
“We are ready and put in much effort to see that everything goes our side. We have hade some changes technically.
“We have put everything together, tried to come up with best combinations, and the boys know that there is a big job at hand.”
The Zimbabwe Sables defeated Uganda team in Kampala in the 2018 Gold cup but Seguya’s troops will once again bank on home support to incur revenge.
Twenty players have been retained from the team that lost to Kenya, bringing in three debutants – Kelvin balagadde, Ivan Kabagambe and Farag Odugo.
