Startimes Uganda Premier League side Mbarara City FC have confirmed Brian Ssenyondo as a new coach for a short spell.
Senyondo, formerly at Synergy FC, was initially appointed as the assistant coach of Mbarara City earlier after the departure of Livingston Mbabazi to Onduparaka FC.
“Mbarara City has appointed Brian Ssenyondo as the head coach (in acting capacity). He will be in charge till a substantive head coach is appointed,” reads a statement from the Ankole Lions.
Ssenyondo’s first task will be in the Pilsner super eight game against URA FC on Friday, August 2.
Ssenyondo will work with Baker Kasule as the technical director and Damba as goalkeeping coach.
