*Kyetume 0-3 Wakiso Giants
*Proline 2-1 Bright Stars
*Vipers 1-0 URA

Proline managed to overcome fellow relegation battlers Bright Stars to win 2-1 at StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo.

Edirisa Lubega and Hakim Kiwanuka scored for the hosts while Augustine Kacancu’s penalty proved to be a consolation for the Stars.

This is the first win for Proline in eight league games and the club has totalled five points after they were docked six points for dishonoring SC Villa fixture.

The loss, sixth this season, leaves Bright Stars with 10 points.

Edirisa had an early shot kept out by goalkeeper Edwin Buule as the hosts made their intentions known right from the onset.

Proline’s early surge later paid off when Edirisa was at the back of Kiwanuka’s cross to pounce home the opener just after the half hour mark.

Even when Bright Stars levelled matters through Kacancu’s contested penalty, Matia Lule’s side kept pushing and Kiwanuka turned-scorer in the 47th minute as the hosts regained control.

Noordin Bunjo had a shot saved by Buule while Joseph Mandela also came close.

Bright Stars remain winless in their last three games and will host Police FC in their next game as Proline visit BUL FC.
