BUL FC will kickoff new life without Peter Onen after the eastern club parted ways with their head coach last week.

Onen was shown an exit door together with hje technical staff of Hussein Kheri, Frank Video Anyau and Abdul Kigenyi after a string of poor results.

Onen has been at the club since August 2018 when he signed a signed a three-year contract to replace Kefa Kisala but a poor start in 2020 made his sacking inevitable.

The club has reportedly appointed CAF B license holder Arthur Kyesimira who was Kisala’s assistant in 2014.

Kyesimira finds the club in sixth place with 29 points but a dream start on Wednesday will see his side move to third.

BUL FC who are winless in their last six games, including a Uganda Cup exit against Mvara, won the reverse fixture against Wakiso Giants 1-0 courtesy of an own goal from Ibrahim Kiyemba.

The visitors had a false start in 2020 as well, losing to Police FC and Mbarara City but back to back wins against Onduparaka and Bugoigo (Uganda Cup), have taken pressure away from new gaffer Livingston Mbabazi.

Viane Ssekajugo has been the master mind, scoring three goals in the last two games, and he will be a great pillar if the club are to win a third game on the trot.

Seated eighth with 23 points, the stylish Purple Sharks are expected to name new signings Geriga Atendele and Gaddafi Wahab who joined from Onduparaka, in their match-day squad provided the necessary paper work has been done in time.

Hassan Ssenyonjo is expected to feature despite picking a knock in Uganda Cup, the club has reported.

Just like Wakiso, BUL FC have been beneficiaries from Onduparaka’s financial constraints, snatching Vitalis Tabu and Dudu Ramathan from the Arua based side.
