UPL: Kabon late goal sends Onduparaka FC into 5th

Living Kabon scored the only goal of the game as Onduparaka FC overcame UPDF FC 1-0 on Tuesday, February 16.

Kabon scored with just seven minutes on clock after both side had endured 82 minutes of limited goal-mouth action.

It is Onduparaka’s third victory of the season and it sends them onto 12 points this campaign.

Having lost just a single game all season, the Caterpillars climb into 5th spot.

For UPDF, they have now failed to win in consecutive games for the first time this campaign, having lost to Vipers SC this past weekend.

The Army side who led the standings going into the 45-day league break now slip to 3rd with 12 points.

In their next fixtures, UPDF are away to Bright Stars FC on Friday while Onduparaka hosts Kyetume FC on the same day.
