Uganda Cranes: Final Squad For Mali, Zambia Friendlies Named

Uganda Cranes Interim Head Coach, Morley Byekwaso Ochama, has named the final squad set to compete against Mali and Zambia in upcoming international friendly matches.

The coach has selected a roster of 24 players following an intensive four-day training session held at East High, Kisasi.

The team is scheduled to depart from Uganda early Tuesday morning (2 am) via Ethiopian Airways.

Notably, the match against Mali is slated for Friday, October 13th, at Stade du Mars in Bamako.

Following this fixture, the squad will proceed to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where Uganda Cranes will face off against Zambia on Tuesday, October 17th, 2023, at Hamriya Stadium.

Besides defender Abdu Aziizi Kayondo who will travel with the contingent from Uganda, the rest of the foreign based players will join the team from their respective clubs.
