Sulaiman Mutyaba Replaces Nestroy Kizito At Standard High Zana

Sulaiman Mutyaba, the former Uganda Cranes forward, has been appointed as the new head coach of Standard High School Zana, replacing Nestroy Kizito, who departed earlier this year.

Holding a CAF C coaching certificate, Mutyaba transitions from his previous role as an assistant coach at Buddu FC in the Masaza Cup.

His primary objective is to lead Standard High in the upcoming USSSA Nationals and FEASSA games.

During his active football career, Mutyaba began at St. Mary’s SS-Kitende before joining Vipers SC.

As a skillful forward, he also made notable appearances for Express FC, KCCA FC in Uganda, and TP Mazembe in Congo.

Former SC Villa assistant coach Nestroy Kizito has embarked on a new role as the head coach of St. Noa Girls Zana.

The former Uganda Cranes international and left-back, joins from Standard High School Zana and has secured a two-year renewable contract.

He takes over from the previous SC Villa and Cranes international coach, James Mukubya.

Kizito’s main mission is to guide St. Noa Girls to success in the USSSA and FEASSA games.

Notably, prior to his appointment, he was already on the sidelines with St. Noa, where his team secured impressive victories, defeating Mukono Kings 7-0 and Police Women Football Club 4-0 in friendly matches.

However, they faced a 1-0 loss to Kawempe Muslim, with Nassazi Allen’s penalty being the deciding factor.

Kizito, in his playing career, also had stints with Partizan Belgrade and Vojvodina in Serbia, as well as Victoria University and Lweza FC.
