Kawempe Muslim WFC aims to continue their flawless run in the new FUFA Women Super League season when they face She Maroons at Luzira Prisons grounds on Saturday.

Coached by Ayub Khalifa Kiyingi, Kawempe has kicked off the season impressively, securing victories in their first two matches against Rines WFC (3-2) and UCU Lady Cardinals (1-0), placing them at the top with six points.

Notably, they’ve adapted well despite the absence of key players like Shakira Nyinagahirwa and Hadija Nandago, showcasing a young, vibrant team that plays entertaining football.

Their upcoming clash against She Maroons, currently sitting second with four points, poses a challenging encounter for both sides.

The hosts, She Maroons, are determined to recover from a recent draw against Wakiso Hills, displayed a strong start by securing a 5-0 win over Asubo Gafford.

Striker Lillian Kasuubo’s impressive hat-trick in the opener signals their potential to challenge Kawempe Muslim, especially at their home ground in Luzira Prisons.
