URA staged an impressive comeback, rallying from a two-goal deficit to secure a 2-2 draw against Busoga United at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.

Busoga United took an early 2-0 lead within 33 minutes through strikes from Hussein Ssajjabi and Emmanuel Ajo.

However, URA mounted a strong resurgence in the second half, netting goals courtesy of Bruno Bunyaga and Moses Aliro, salvaging a valuable point.

Ssajjabi capitalized on a fumble by URA goalkeeper Rogers Omedwa from a long-range effort by Moses Logono to open the scoring.

Additionally, Busoga extended their lead following a defensive lapse by URA’s Eric Ssenjobe as they tried to play from the back, allowing Ajo to exploit an error and find the net.

URA narrowed the margin when Joseph Ssemujju’s header from Omedwa’s long ball found Bunyaga, who volleyed the ball past goalkeeper Michael Lutaaya.

The comeback was sealed in the 82nd minute as Aliro orchestrated a swift combination with Godfrey Kibengo, delivering a strike far from the keeper’s reach.

URA remain seventh with 17 points, and remain without a win on the road from seven games.

Busoga United who was denied their fourth win of the season, slip to 12th with 12 points.
