City Oilers Eyeing Fourth Straight Win

Wednesday, March 27
•UCU Lady Canons Vs Miracle Ravens – 7pm
•JT Jaguars Vs City Oilers – 9pm

City Oilers will hope to make light work of JT Jaguars in a matchup at YMCA in the National Basketball League on Wednesday.

After a setback against Nam Blazers, City Oilers have been on a winning streak, clinching victories in their last three games.

Their recent 99-63 triumph over newcomers Livingstone should be a sign of what another newcomer JT Jaguars should expect.

Despite missing key player Titus Lual, City Oilers demonstrated their depth by racking up 59 points from their bench against Livingstone.

Benjamin Kawumi’s standout performance with 15 points underscored the team’s resilience, although they fell just short of the coveted 100-point mark.

However, City Oilers have identified areas for improvement, particularly their three-point shooting, where they missed 13 out of 18 attempts against Livingstone.

On the other side, JT Jaguars are coming off a morale-boosting 75-70 victory over Dmark Power, snapping their three-game losing streak.

Despite their recent struggles, they have shown resilience even in defeats against top teams like Nam Blazers and UCU Canons.

Coach Sudi Ulanga is cognizant of the challenge posed by City Oilers and will be rallying his team for a competitive showing.
