Miracle Ravens, buoyed by a sensational upset victory against KCCA Leopards, are set to face off against UCU Lady Canons in a highly anticipated National Basketball League showdown at the YMCA court in Wandegeya on Wednesday.

Miracle Ravens halted KCCA Leopards’ unbeaten streak with a narrow 76-75 victory, igniting hopes of another remarkable triumph against another title contender.

Led by coach Arnold Katabi, the Ravens are riding high on confidence following their dominant 98-43 win over Kampala University, marking their seventh win of the season in 10 games.

As they gear up for their last fixture of the first round, Miracle Ravens are determined to maintain their momentum against the Lady Canons.

UCU have won six out of eight games, coach Nicholas Natuhereza’s squad suffered defeats against KCCA and JKL Lady Dolphins.

UCU will also be boosted by the return of key players Shillah Lamunu and Bridget Aber from the African Games in Ghana, where they were part of Uganda’s U23 3×3 team.

It’s also strong to add that UCU has a history of dominance over the Miracle Ravens, having secured victories in their last four regular season meetings.

It’s a tough task for Miracle Ravens to defy the odds against another formidable side once again, but they will hope to go toe-to-toe with the side.
