City Oilers Vs JKL – Highlights
City Oilers cruised past JKL Dolphins with an impressive 97-68 victory in a National Basketball League showdown on Sunday at YMCA Court in Wandegeya.
Right from the tip-off, the Oilers set the tone, blazing through the first quarter with a commanding 31-16 lead, a momentum they maintained throughout the game.
Having only suffered one defeat this season against Nam Blazers, the Oilers were anticipated to handle the fixture with ease, and they did not disappoint.
Moses Maker emerged as the game’s top scorer, delivering an outstanding 23-point performance, complemented by Ivan Muhwezi’s 18 points and Edrine Walujjo’s 13 points.
Martin Buluma, Clement Kabangu, and Austin Odiwuor each contributed 13 points, for JKL.
In the battle under the boards, City Oilers asserted their dominance, outrebounding JKL Dolphins 54-45, while also showcasing their depth with an impressive 32 points off the bench compared to JKL’s 19.
The Oilers were scheduled to face off against UCU Canons on Friday, but the game was postponed due to the National Census. The team remains undefeated in the second round, securing three consecutive victories.
