Watch highlights here:

Bright Stars dealt a blow to Kitara’s title aspirations with a 1-0 victory in an intense Uganda Premier League clash at Kavumba.

Shafic Kakande netted the lone goal, capitalizing on Kitara’s defensive lapse.

Despite Kitara’s dominance, they squandered several scoring opportunities they should have capitalized on.

Denis Omedi missed a one-on-one chance, and Innocent Kitimbo cleared his shot off the line in the first half.

In the second half, Kabon Living’s header went wide with the goalkeeper out of position.

While Kitara struggled to convert their chances, Bright Stars also had their opportunities, with Nelson Senkatuka missing several and being denied a penalty after being fouled in the box by Benjamin Nyakoojo.

Kitara drops to fourth, and will have to beat Gaddafi and hope the other top three teams – SC Villa, Vipers and BUL – all falter on the final day.
