Miracle Ravens are looking to bounce back from recent disappointing performances when they face Magic Stormers at the YMCA Court on Wednesday in the National Basketball League matchup.

Under coach Arnold Katabi, the Miracle Ravens have struggled in the second round, winning just two out of their five games and losing their last two fixtures.

Their recent 57-66 defeat to JT Jaguars was particularly disheartening, as they squandered a 10-point lead during the game.

Mariam Namukwaya was the standout performer for the Ravens in that match, scoring a game-high 23 points. Despite her efforts, she received little support from her teammates, none of whom managed to score in double digits.

The team was also heavily out-rebounded 51-65 and had a poor shooting evening from beyond the arc.

However, the Ravens might find solace in their previous encounter with the Magic Stormers, where they secured a 61-53 victory in the first round.

Yet, the Stormers have since strengthened their squad, notably with the addition of Zainah Lokwameri during the mid-season transfer window.

The Magic Stormers have shown significant improvement, winning two of their three games in the second round. They triumphed over the UPDF Lady Tomahawks and Kampala University but were defeated by the JKL Lady Dolphins.

Key players Kur Ajah and Daphine Adong, who are averaging double digits in scoring, will be crucial if the Stormers are to challenge the Miracle Ravens.
