Big League: Onduparaka Re-Sign Three Former Players

Onduparaka have re-signed three of their former players, ahead of the
2024/25 FUFA Big League.

The Caterpillars have reunited with utility player John Rogers Okumu, striker Jamal Malish and defender Denis ‘Koko’ Andama.

The three players are back in Arua to help their boyhood club reclaim their topflight status next season; Okumu returned from NEC, Malish from Blacks Power and Koko from Arua Hill.

Okumu signed a three-year contract, while each one of Malish and Koko signed two-year deals respectively.

Meanwhile, the club has confirmed the renewed commitment of atleast five vital members of the team, who signed new contracts with the FUFA Big League side last week.

Long-serving rightback Gasper Adriko, striker Brian Ade, defender Simba Sabir, plus midfielders Davis Mayanja and Junior Andama have all renewed their contracts with Onduparaka for two more years respectively.

Onduparaka also managed to convince their last season’s top scorer, coach-player Ceasar Okhuti to come out of retirement (for the second time) to add firepower to the club’s striking line.

The new season begins in October, and Onduparaka will start with a home tie against stubborn neighbors Paidha Black Angels at the Greenlight Stadium, Arua, in the highly-rated West Nile derby.
