“I am so happy to join a big club like KCCA FC which is also respected on the continent. Back in DRC, this club is known for its great history and when the opportunity to join the club was presented to me I could not resist,” he stated.

“I have read so much about the history of this club and I have tasked myself to add value and history to this great club. I am certain the club and the technical team will push me to my ultimate best and that is exactly what I want to achieve.

I know some players in the squad like John Revita who previously played in The Democratic Republic of Congo and I am sure I will settle in well. The Coach has already shared with me his expectations and I am looking forward to playing with my new mates.”

Kankonde is the fifth signing at KCCA FC in this transfer window after Moses Waiswa and youngsters Faisal Wabyoona, Saidi Mayanja and Allan Enyou.
