Representing COBAP, Kimera triumphed over Abdul Shantal (Army) in the semifinals of the Elite Flyweight category on Thursday.
Each weight class’s top two finalists in the National Open earn a ticket to the prestigious Boxing Champions League.
Kimera is poised to confront the victor of the other semifinal clash between Abdul Hakim and Matovu Livingston.
The highly anticipated final match is scheduled for Saturday at the Lugogo Indoor Arena.
