Uganda Cranes battered Kampala Region Select team with a 4-0 win in a Cranes Namutima Regional tour game played at StarTimes Stadium in Lugogo.
Youngsters Allan Okello and Anukani Bright scored a goal each to add on Dan Sserunkuma’s brace to seal a deserved victory.
Cranes Coach Sebastian Desabre was convinced with the general Performance:
“It was a good game, both teams played good football. I am happy about the quality, and I know that I have good future here.
“We played from the back, struggled to penetrate but there after we managed to make some changes and got the needed win.”
The French manager commended the day’s opponents Kampala Regional team, saying that they put up a good show, too.
He congratulated his youngsters Mustafa Mujuzi, Julius Poloto, Allan Okello and Bright Anukani who displayed a good game.
He expressed his concerns on the chances created and those put at the back of the net, clarifying that his side could have scored like three goals before the break.
This was Cranes (local based players) last game before selecting a team that will join the foreign based bunch in Egypt to intensify training ahead of an AFCON qualifier Vs Tanzania.
