Proline FC extended their lead at the top with a strong 5-0 win against sorry Kira United in the StarTimes FUFA Big League.

Hakim Kiwanuka got a quick brace before Captain Noordin Bunjo made it 3-0 before the break.

Bright Anukani showed composure in the fourth goal before the hour mark. Ivan Bogere scored the fifth for Proline z his ninth goal of the campaign.

However, Proline FC coach was not impressed with the team’s performance, against a lowly Kira United side who failed from the spot when Mohammed Ssenyonga’s kick rattled the crossbar.

Speaking after a one sided affair, Bisaso bragged:

“It was a good game, though we didn’t played as we were supposed to. It was just a good in office but my players didn’t do some of the things I had told them to do.

“Its not all about scoring many goals, its about how we play on the pitch. We didn’t do many things right but we hope to improve as we go into our next game.”

Commenting on Ivan Bogere’s performance who would have scored like five on the day, the former Villa and Express FC boss revealed:

“He is trying to be kiddish. He is a good boy but he was so wastefully. We try always to tell him to never give up. We will see how we can polish him.”

This was Proline’s tenth win of the season. The side now move to 33 points, five above Kansai Plascon in third who lost to Kabale Sharp. Kiboga Young in second will not be in action until Saturday.

Lewis Kalule, Kira United’s tactician said: “More work still needs to be done, we did better in the second half but couldn’t find the back of the net. We still believe that we can survive the relegation.”

Next for Proline FC is a trip to Kabale Sharp as Kira will travel to Kiboga Young.
