Yeak Kabowa consolidated their spot atop in the Futsal Super League with a commanding victory against Nomad.

Yeak won 6-2 to return to winning ways, their 12th victory in 17 attempts to reach 39 points, two above second places Park FC who were held one all by Aidenal.

Enock Ssebagala was the night’s hero, grabbing five goals to take his tally to 27, joint top scorer with teammate Avemah Shafic who scored the other goal.

Faudi Osman Biric scored a brace, but it was not enough for Nomad who lost their sixth game of the season, dropping to sixth place on the 14 team log.

Next for Yeak Kabowa is derby against Kabowa United on Match-day 20 as Nomad will face Aidenal on the same night.

Parakeets beat up on Dream FC, 4-2, with Stephen Mukisa, Abigaba Joseph Vincent and Arafat Ssentongo’s brace lifting the club to third place with 34 points before playing Bajim next weekend.

The league returns next Thursday

Yap Stars’ surge to jump out of the bottom was dented by a 3-2 loss to Crown as the club remain rooted at the league foot with just six points.
