Official: Kyetume FC Confirms New Coach

Newly promoted Uganda Premier League side Kyetume FC have appointed George Best Nsimbe as their new coach.

Nsimbe will be assisted by David Mutono, both parties have exclusively revealed to the-SportsNation.

The pair replaces Jackson Mayanja and Allan Kabonge who joined the side earlier this year and guided the Mukono based team to the top flight.

“We have heard that Mayanja (Jackson) has got a new job elsewhere and so we had to make this quick appointment,” Kyetume FC CEO Joseph Olepas confirmed to this Website on Sunday morning.

Olepas also confirmed that Nsimbe and Mutono have joined on a two year contract.

However, the club has not yet appointed a full technical committee.

“Yes, it’s true I am joining Kyetume FC,” Mutono told the-SportsNation. “But right now am still in Lira and I will be coming back to finalise the deal.”

Nsimbe was recently at Maroons FC while Mutono had a spell with Soana FC (currently Tooro United)/
