Azam FC right back Nicholas Wadada has made it to the final three-man shortlist for the best player in the 2019/20 Tanzania Vodacom Premier League.
The Uganda Cranes defender will go head to head with Simba’s Clatous Chuma (Zambia) and Coastal Union youngster Bakari Mwamnyeto who recently signed by Young Africans.
The players were selected from the initial list of 30, with the winner set to be announced on August 7, 2020 at Mlimani City Hall.
Wadada was an instrumental figure for Azam FC last season, scoring a goal and setting eight assists despite his team finished third.
Zambia’s Chama who scored two goals and 10 assists, will provide a strong competition.
Wadada is also set to compete with David Luhende (Kagere Sugar) and Mwamnyeto for best defender gong as well.
