Paidah Intensifies Preps Ahead Of Big League Kickoff

FUFA Big League side Paidha Black Angels preparation for the league have geared up after they played a number of preseason friendlies.

The Blacks had a Bunyoro tour in Bugoigoi where they played five matches.

On 12th February Paidha Black Angels played a 2-2 draw away to Nebbi Hotspring before visiting Pakwach Young Stars at Omach Stadium, in a game that ended 1-1 with Choka Julius levelling matters for the visitors.

Three days later academy graduate Jarieko James and new signing Aweko Victor scored as Paidha Black Angels defeated Regional League side Nebbi Central in an Alur Derby at the Luo stadium in Nebbi.

On 26th February, The Blacks hosted Pakwach Young Stars at Bar Okoro Stadium in Paidha and it ended 1-1. The visitors were put ahead by Majidu before new signing Jakisa Jerry equalised for the home side.

On Sunday 28th February, Paidha Black Angels will welcome local rivals Nebbi Central for the return leg after edging them 1-2 in Nebbi.

In their quest for promotion to the Uganda Premier League, Paidha is in the Elgon group alongside Westnile rivals Arua Hill SC, Calvary FC, Maroons FC, Kiboga Young, Kataka FC, Black Power and Gadafi FC.
