Simba will pose a bigger challenge to Lady Doves – The side won the title on 54 points, edging Yanga Princess, to the Tanzanian title.

The championship will kickoff on July 17 to August 1 in Kenya, hosted by Vihiga Queens.

Each of the Caf zones including Council of East and Central Africa Football Association (Cecafa) will send a team to the finals in Egypt. Two other teams will be added including the host nation to make it eight.

The final eight teams will then be divided into two groups of four teams each for a face off for the Champions League title.
