Express FC: We Need To Make Right Decisions In Transfers – Bbosa

Express were declared league champions when FUFA decided to end the season after a lockdown was effected due to high surge in Covid19 positive cases.

The Red Eagles have already kickstarted preparations for next season ahead of their return to CAF champions League after 14 years absence.

“The technical team is tirelessly working behind the scenes to have a competitive team for next season that I can confirm,” coach Wasswa Bbosa disclosed to the club website.

“As league champions, we need to make the right decisions of who comes in and who leaves because we have a bumper schedule ahead and when the time is right we shall definitely let the world know.”

According to the former SC Villa coach, the players are training during the lockdown online under the guidance of strength and conditioning coach Helen Buteme.

“I am certain you have come across various videos of players training on their different social media platforms,” he added.

“Helen is doing an amazing job and I am sure by the time the lockdown is lifted (if it is) the players will have made strides.”

Express are reportedly engaging some players to renew their contracts including goalkeeper Mathias Muwanga.

They have been linked to Onduparaka FC forward Living Kabon, SC Villa Midfielder Ronald Ssekiganda and Mbarara City defender John Adriko among others.
