Waiswa Names Four Promising Young Talents in Uganda

Uganda Cranes and Supersport United midfielder Moses Waiswa has named his choices of four promising young Talents in Ugandan football.

The SuperSport United midfielder made the remarks in an interview on Wednesday at the Endibba Yaffe on Sanyuka Tv.

Formerly at Vipers, Waiswa joined the South African Premier league side in July 2019, penning a two year deal that will see him stay at the club up to 2022.
When quizzed about his choices for the four young promising players, Waiswa ‘s picks were jaw-dropping.

“There are so many young talents in Uganda like Vipers Sc duo of Bbobosi Byaruhanga, Karim Watambala, KCCA’s Bright Anukani, Julius Poloto. These players have a bright future, Waiswa stated.

He added “So what I can say is that the coaches should handle these players well and bring out the best in their talents, Uganda has a bright future, we just lack professionalism within us as players.”

Playing professional football for any player calls for a lot sacrifice and perseverance to get the dream come true.

For Waiswa, who has tested that experience, he spared some words to the young lads who have the same dream.

“You must be patient 100 percent because you are joining new people, they don’t know you, you don’t speak the same language, some will like you others won’t. Another thing you must sacrifice the things you love most like friends, family.

And lastly you must give your career 100 percent professionally, you wake up then to football, so everything is all about football, it’s a big sacrifice”.

Waiswa was named the Airtel FUFA best player of the year in 2018 while still playing for Vipers SC.
