Preview: We aim for three points as we visit Gaddafi – Alex Gitta.

The purple sharks head coach Alex Gitta expects his side to fight for maximum points as they visit tricky side Gaddafi FC at the Gaddafi Arena in Jinja.

“We are playing Gaddafi FC who are in their first season in the top flight league but they have been with great performances throughout their days in the Big league and have now gained the qualities of a good team but our main aim is to be the better team on the day.” Wakiso Giants head coach Alex Gitta speaking ahead of their tie.

On the injuring and the state of the team Gitta shows how much they will miss their first choice custodian Derrick Emukule.

“We go into this tie without our first choice goalkeeper Derrick Emukule who is suspended due to yellow card accumulation but the rest of the players are available for selection.”

The purple sharks who have already achieved their targets for first round will have one more chance to surpass it as head coach Gitta aims for a comfortable second round without pressure.

“We have already achieved our targets in the first round of collecting a minimum of 24 points in the first round but we need to work hard to collect maximum points as we wait for a comfortable second round with little pressure.”

Wakiso Giants were winners in their last encounter against BUL FC coming from down twice as they won 4-3 in a dramatic 7goal encounter, they will be aiming to show the same resilience as they visit Gaddafi.

Gaddafi FC will embark on their recent performance as they put up a spirited fight to pick a point on away against UPL giant URA FC.

The soldier boys who sit 8th on the log with 18points have seen their best performances come from home where they have only lost twice in the 7 games played at home.

Their main aim will be to see that they end the first round with a victory at home as they host the purple sharks.
