Misagga Promises Better SC Villa Next Season

SC Villa Vice President (fans mobilisation) Eng Ben Misagga says that the record UPL winners will be a better side next season.

This, Missaga said while reacting on several concerns raised by the fans while opening up Kalerwe fans branch on Sunday.

Misagga believes the new club administration will have put the house in order by start of next season and asked the fans to be patient.

The remarks come amidst poor results that have seen the club fail to win a game this year!

“SC Villa is not a nursery that every time we will be having young players, I know that, and I urge you to forget everything going on now, the significant input is going to be seen next season because things are already messed up in this one,” Misagga commented.

Unlike the previous fans branches opened, the Kalerwe branch has fully installed functioning offices, and after opening the offices found at Kalerwe new market.

Among the many issues raised by the fans, they mainly highlighted the high entrance fees charged during home games and club’s unchanged jersey.

In response to high entrance fees, Missaga said the club is looking forward to get its own home before the year ends.

“We are in search for suitable space where Villa can settle and stop renting, this season we are in Njeru, next season again we shift to another place, this tendancy must come to an end before 2022 ends.”

It should be noted that since the dismantling of Nakivubo War memorial stadium, Villa has hosted games at Masaka Recreation grounds, Bombo and Namboole.

Currently they are using FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru, where the fans claim that they are charged Sh20000/= as entrance fees.

Missaga promised Villa’s first bus got from the President Museveni to be given to fans to ease transport given the fact that now the team now got another bus.

About the fans concern of the club donning the same jersey for over two seasons, Missaga ensured them that they are to have a new one next season.

The leadership of Kalerwe SC villa fans branch has Badru Katende as Chairman, Richard Mwene deputy, Sultan Hakim as Public secretary, Godfrey Mulindwa as Secretary, Mastulah Katende as treasurer, Joseph Mutyaba as Transport Officer, Balcom Kisekka as security officer and Ismail Kabanda the welfare.

Kalerwe is the third fans club opened this season adding on Jinja and Kasanje fans branches.

Misagga gave the branch five hundred thousand Uganda shillings, a Villa flag and two balls.
