Jinja Lions 01-06 St Lawrence.
Buganda Royal 09-07MUBS
Mutoola 15-2 Grace Church BSC

Jinja Lions Beach Soccer Club head coach Ivan Kulika blamed his side’s match day six loss to lack of maturity and experience.

Jinja who picked their first league win two weeks (8-7 against Wolves BSC), lost 1-6 to defending champion St Lawrence in National Beach soccer league game played at Mutoola Beach, Mukono.

Arafat Wandera scored the only goal for the Jinja based side.

“They came as the favourites of course, and they used maturity and experience to beat us, most of their players are on National team, so they have played big tournaments,” Ivan Kulika said after his loss to St Lawrence.

The tactician also said that lack the absence of his strikers cost his side.

“We came into the game without a striker, which explains why we only managed to score one goal, we had so many chances to convert but those who have been doing it had no experience in scoring because it wasn’t their natural positions.”

The Sand Kings remain 3rd on the log of six teams in Monsoon group with 4 points.

St Lawrence stamp their Authority at the top of the Monsoon group with 15 points.

Buganda Royal Institute leads the Hurricane group with 15 points as well.
