There is not perfect way to celebrate women’s day than catching live the seven games of netball league to played at Luzira Prison Grounds.

Among the seven games, third placed KCCA with the most goals, has a chance to lead the log of ten teams with goal difference if they pass the test of the two games against six placed Police in the morning and fifth placed UCU in the final game of the day.

Should KCCA win both its games, it will be tied on 25 points with current table leaders and defending Champions NIC, but they will leapfrog NIC since KCCA in their current third position, have more goals than NIC, however NIC will be with a game in hand after missing on Tuesday’s seven games fixture.

National Netball League table

KCCA are yet to drop points in this second round, they are unbeaten in their last five matches

In other games, host and second placed Prision will also be looking to keep their tittle chances alive, if they win against UCU, they will go on 24 points, just a point behind leaders and unbeaten NIC.

However they suffered a set back in their last game on Thursday, after falling short by 46-48 to fourth played Makindye Weyonje who are playing Posta Uganda.

Ninth placed Posta are coming into this one, at the back of their first win of the season and a sweet revenge of 43-39 against bottom placed KBK, last Saturday, before playing Weyonje, they have to first tussle out with Uganda Luwero in the first match of the day.

For Makindye Weyonje who had registered their maiden top two win against Prisons last Thursday, suffered their first second round defeat at the expense of NIC, following a 41-33 score in their last encounter two days back.

For UCU,in their quest to keep their second round unbeaten run intact and hope for the top four finish alive, they have a tricky test to pass in their two games under their belts, getting wins from both tittle contenders in Prisons and KCCA, will be a very hard nut to crack.

For bottom place KBK with little hopes of survival, with just one win in the season so far, will also have two games against sleeping giants and eighth placed UPDF before facing Seventh Uganda Luwero in the Second last match of day.
