Uganda Cranes Midfielder Khalid Aucho has extended his contract with Tanzania Premier League side Young Africans Sports Club until 2024 .

The new deal will see the Cranes Vice captain play for more seasons at the Tanzanian outfit.

Aucho, who joined the Tanzanian giants has been a key member ever since joining the side last season, after ending his stay at Egyptian side El Makkasa.

He helped his side to win last season’s Tanzania Premier league of the 2021/22 title in his first season as they went unbeaten.

Aucho also has one FA cup title and two community shields already on his name.

And the new deal was inevitable given all these achievements by the Cranes midfielder.

Currently, Yanga Africans are on the road to retaining their title as they sit top with 50 points after 19 games this season.

Previously, Aucho has featured for El Makkasa in Egypt, Ghormhia in Kenya, Simba SC here in Uganda among other clubs.
