Rezlife Saints will be going all out in search for their first win in the National Basketball League as the season continues at Lugogo.

The newcomers have had a rough start after three defeats in as many games.

They lost the opener 81-83 against Power on March 19 in a game they led for larger parts, but looked second best throughout in losses against KIU Titans (74-54) and City Oilers (88-55).

“We are ready for Wednesday’s game and hopeful that we get our first win this season,” Rezlife coach Daniel Najja Juuko told The-SportsNation.

“We started with big teams and we lost to all of them but we have learnt a lot we are adjusting.

“We just need to crash for defensive rebounds and reduce on our turnovers.

“Our execution is getting better and the confidence is high in the team.”

Najja said that he is likely to maintain the 12-player roster that played against City Oilers.

Benjamin Kawumi and Thok Timothy, who are averaging 14 points each, will carry the scoring burden.

But Micahel Otieno, who will be facing his former side, the is the star player for the Rezlife Saints who will be cheered on by their usual cheer-leaders from Resurrection Church.

Ndejje Angels are 2-2, having lost their last two games (KIU Titans and Power) despite an impressive start to the season.

John Omondi’s side won their opening two games (KCCA and UCU) and will be hoping to return to winning ways.

The lanky Joseph Kumbai who is averaging 9 points and 16 rebounds, has proved a problem to all teams and is expected to carry the Angels once again.
