Arua Hill ran riot over Express with a convincing 4-1 victory in the Uganda Premier League at Barifa Ground.

A brace from Gadafi Wahab and a goal each from Rashid Kawawa and Innocent Media ensured that the Kongolo completed a double over Express whose only goal was scored by Anwar Ntege.

Arua Hill have never lost any game against Express neither have they drawn, they have won all the four meetings.

The only positive for Express is that they have finally scored a goal against Arua after firing blank in the three outings.

Express have seen their unbeaten run of six games come to end. They last lost a game on 5th March a 2-1 defeat to rivals Villa.

Arua Hill had a dream start to the game after Wahab headed them into an early second minute lead.

The hosts could have added their tally but neither Toha Rashid nor Innocent Media could double the tally but the latter had his goal ruled out for offside.

However, it was Kawawa who volleyed in for the home side in the 26th minute to double their lead.

Three minutes later, Express pulled one back through Ntege to give them hope of a come back.

In the second half, Media added his name on the scoresheet in the 57th minute to extent the hosts lead.

The hosts couldn’t settle for less and in the 75th minute, Wahab sinked to to complete his brace capitalising on a miscommunication between the defenders.

Boban Zirintusa, Allan Kayiwa and Joshua Musoke all had the sight at goal for the visitors but their efforts couldn’t get past the goalline.

Arua Hill moves up to 4th on the log with 37 points after 24 matches while Express drop to 10th with 30 points in 24 matches.
