I&M Bank Katogo Golf Series Returns, on Golf Union Calendar

The eagerly awaited 2024 I&M Bank Katogo Golf Series is set to kick off on March 9th at the prestigious Entebbe Club, promising golf enthusiasts a thrilling season ahead.

Following the success of the 2023 edition, which garnered acclaim both on and off the course, the series has earned a coveted spot on the annual Golf Union calendar, solidifying its status as a premier golfing event in the region.

Other partners include RwandAir, who will provide air tickets worth UGX 30 million to winners, Mitsubishi Motors, which has staked an Xpander as a hole-in-one prize, GA Insurance, who are the insurers of the hole-in-one prize, Johnnie Walker, who is the drinks partner, Fenon Events, and Goldman, who will enhance the 19th hole experience.

Spanning four rounds, the series will commence on March 9th and then take a brief hiatus before resuming on June 29th for its second round.

The penultimate round is scheduled for September 28th, with the grand finale slated for December 7th, promising months of exhilarating competition and camaraderie.

Distinguished by its innovative approach, the 2024 I&M Bank Katogo Golf Series introduces a range of captivating formats designed to test the skills and strategy of participating golfers.

From the ‘In regulation’ individual event in round one, where precision is paramount, to the intriguing ‘Double Bogey Danger’ format in the final round, where players face the challenge of strategic club selection, each round promises unique thrills and excitement.

As headline sponsors, I&M Bank is committed to elevating the tournament experience, ensuring that both on-course competition and off-course festivities are of the highest standard.
