Gift Ali: KCCA FC Midfielder Adds Voice On Fight Against Covid19

With the world almost at a standstill due to the pandemic coronavirus Disease 2019, midfielder Gift Ali has come out to send strong advise in avid to curb the widespread of the pandemic.

Ali, who was recently left out of Cranes team to play in CHAN 2020 in Cameroon, has called upon everyone to sanitize and maintain social distance.

“Hello everyone as we all know of this deadly virus already killing us, we can protect others from the virus,” Gigi told the club media.

“Let’s wash our hands as frequently as possible with soap and running water. Maintain social distance and avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth.

“If you happen to have fever, cough or difficulties in breathing seek medical care as early as possible”

“Together we can win, keep safe.”

Currently, Uganda has registered 23 cases of the Covid 19.

Gigi has been KCCA FC best player this campaign despite the club’s struggles that has seen them trail leaders Vipers in title quest.

The league is scheduled to resume in May, if the conditions allow.

The country’s president HE. Yoweri kaguta Museveni came out last week and banned all public gatherings including sports(football) for 32 days.
