Morley Byekwaso To Ring Changes Against Strugglers Kitara

Coach Morley Byekwaso has revealed that he will ring changes when his KCCA FC side take on strugglers Kitara FC in the Uganda Premier League on Friday.

The Kasasiro Boys travel to Masindi seeking maximum points as the fixture will mark one of their last four League games.

The Lugogo based side head into the game fourth on the log with 45 points, and already out of the title race.

Speaking to the press on Wednesday ahead of the game, Byekwaso says despite having a poor season, they are focused to finish the season on a high note.

“We respect the last four games because we need to finish well on the table” Byekwaso who is reportedly on verge of signing a long term contract with KCCA FC told pressmen.
“Even though we have performed poorly this season, but we have to try and finish well.” He noted.

KCCA will be playing against a Kitara side that is already relegated to the FUFA Big league and almost have nothing to play for.
It’s why Byekwaso is expected to give some game time to fringe players.
“There will be new faces because we are building these players for the future. Expect new players in different positions, we want to see that what didn’t work out in previous games and try to bring out a better picture.

“We need to see when they are playing, how is their mentality, do they enjoy with responsibility and how they handle different aspects of the game.”

However, Byekwaso adds that they won’t pressurise the young players as they need to keep growing in their game.

“We are not going to put them a lot of pressure, they need to know how big teams play, we expect them to be strong, calm and enjoy the game.”

Having crushed out of the Uganda Cup, this will mark KCCA FC’s second succesive season without a trophy as they last lifted one in the 2018/2019 season.

With Morley Byekwaso now preferably their next head coach, it is still work in progress as they need to wait for next season to fight for silverware.
