Mbeya City: Ssemujju is a Player We Have been Missing – Matia Lule

Mbeya City Coach Matia Lule says that new signing Joseph Ssemujju has been the missing puzzle in his team.

Ssemujju joined the Tanzanian outfits in the concluded January transfer window after cancelling his contract at BUL FC.

Lule has expressed trust in a pacy winger and admitted that he will be of good value to his team this season.

“To me in our team we have been missing a player like Joseph Ssemujju,” Lule told The-SportsNation.

“He has Pace, Technical ability plus acceleration and shoots powerfully with both feet. I pray to God that he concentrates and stay focused here.”

Last week, he scored on his Mbeya City debut in a friendly against DTB that ended 1-1. Shafic Batambuze and Joel Madondo featured for DTB FC.

Ssemujju will be made to feel at home at Mbeya City by Lule and two other Ugandans at the club assistant coach Joseph Kiwanuka and left back Yayo Lutimba.

He is set for his competitive debut against leaders Young Africans on Saturday.

Mbeya City sit third with 22 points after 13 games in the Tanzanian Premier League.
