Stanbic Uganda Cup: Mbarara City V URA FC Rescheduled

The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) through the competitions committee has confirmed the postponement of the Uganda cup match between Mbarara City and URA FC.

The game was officially slated to take place on Thursday 24th February 3:00 pm at Kakyeeka stadium.

It has now been moved to the Saturday 26th February as the venue and time remain unchanged.

According to a document released by the Competitions director Hajjat Aisha Nalule, Mbarara City FC asked for the postponment of the game as their home ground Kakyeeka stadium is under use by the Mbarara district council in various services.

“Greetings from the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA). This servers to inform you that the game between Mbarara City vs URA FC has been postponed from Thursday 24th to Saturday 26th February.”

“The reason for the above is the unavailability of Kakyeeka stadium on Thursday 24th as communicated to us by the club.” Read part of the document.
