BUL suffered their first home loss of the season after a 1-0 defeat against Visitors URA in a league game played at FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.

Ibrahim Dada scored in the 86th minute to help URA leave with maximum points.

Youngster Sunday Andabati will take huge credit for the goal after sweeping BUL defence down with a counter attack before his effort was spilled by keeper into Dada’s way to score in an unguarded net.

The result was a hard pill to swallow after BUL dominating the game from the word go, but they were made to rue missed chances.

“I think we were unlucky. We created many chances especially in the first half, but we didn’t score,” said BUL coach Alex Isabirye.

“They had only once chance on goal and they used it. We did everything we were supposed to do.”

The defeat leaves BUL in second with 29 points, and the side remains six points behind leaders KCCA FC.

Issbirye watered down title claims: “I am not competing for the title, my focus is on building a team that will compete in the future.”

It’s the first loss for URA at home in the league this season, coming in their ninth attempt.

The hosts will feel they could have done better on the day but couldn’t find the breakthrough including an effort that rattled the crossbar.

The win, takes the Tax Collectors to seventh with 23 points.
