City Oilers continued with their dominance after rolling over Power in the NBL on Saturday at YMCA court in Wandegeya.

The Oilers won 85-55 in a game Power sniffed the lead only in the opening exchanges.

The victory means the Oilers have won all their 15 games so far, a run that headlines the Club’s superiority this season.

Oilers led 47-36 at halftime and Power managed just 19 points combined in the whole second half to lose the game by 30 points difference.

Titus Lual scored a double double of 23 points and 14 rebounds while Fayed Baale and James Okello had 12 and 10 points respectively for the eight-time League winners.

Elvis Mpeti (13), Guellord Mobanza (11) and Puati Kikomba (10) reached in double digits in scoring for Power.

City Oilers uses the game, once a league classic back in the days, to test their armoury and the side went on to collect 43 bench points on Saturday.

The victory means that City Oilers have beaten Power twice in the regular season having obliterated the side 106-49 in March.

The loss ends Power’s three-game winning streak for a side that had beaten UPDF Tomahawks, Ndejje University Angels and Our Saviour.

Timothy Odeke’s side, Power, has now won eight and lost as many games this season.
