He was previously at Ggaba’s Terranova Academy and was part of the Uganda Hippos initial squad summoned for the AFCON U20 earlier this year.

Kibande who is blessed with a lanky size and good game reading, will be a good addition for the Jogoos defence after the departure of Gift Fred to Tanzania’s Yanga SC.

SC Villa recently released Sheif Batte who has since joined Express while Frank Muna Kalule, Martin Elungat, Pistis Barenge, Fred Agandu, Charles Bbaale and Hassan Musana among others have left the club.

Denis Ojara, Charles Batibwe and Diego Ssemugera are some of the latest additions at the Jogoos who lost the league title last season on the final day after defeat against URA at Wankulukuku.
