Express FC is set to unveil former Busoga United forward Isaac Wagoina, The-SportsNation has learnt.

Wagoina inked a deal back to Uganda Premier League having spent last season at Iganga-based regional league outfits Busei FC.

He joined Busoga United in February 2021 from third tier side Iganga United on a short deal.

He has also previously played for Kyadondo and Bunha counties in the Buganda and Busoga Masaza cup tournaments respectively.

And he has been outstanding for Busoga Province at the FUFA Drum this season.

The Red Eagles, on Wednesday, confirmed Striker Seif Batte as their first new signing.

Brian Majwega, Emmanuel Alex Wasswa (loan), Andrew Kawooya, are the other players expected to be unveiled at Express.

Express FC who has lost a couple of players including captain Allan Kayiwa, finished 10th last season with only 34 points.
