Paidha Black Angels Appoints New Coach

West Nile side Paidha Black Angels have this Friday September 3rd unveiled club legend and former Police FC striker Nega Abraham Ogussi as their new head coach.

Ogussi deputised his predecessor Allan Kabonge the entirety of last season and was key to their activities in the Big League.

His most immediate task will be to monitor the player’s trials that are scheduled to kickoff next week at the Bar Okoro Stadium.

This will be before the West Nile Popular 8 tournament where the team will for glory in the inaugual competition with other strong sides in the region.

They are pitted in Group B alongside Calvary FC, Arua City and Adjumani Town Council FC while clubs like Arua Hill, Onduparaka and so forth make Group A.

His confirmation to the job comes just a fortnight after another club Legend Piyic Lewin was appointed to the role of interim chairman.

Rumour however has it that the FUFA Regional side was meant to unveil former UPDF and Ndejje University Assistant Coach Chekechan AbduMalik to the position.

This was after what was reported to be a successful agreement with the club CEO Adebo Jerry and interim Chairman Piyic Lewin.

This has however not materialized since the club EXCOM managed to decide against the decision citing financial hardships.
